Vinvu Software (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how FoodMap AI (“the App”) collects, uses, and protects your information.

By using the App, you agree to the terms described below.

1. No Account Required

You can use FoodMap AI without creating an account or signing up. We do not ask for your name, email address, or other personal registration details.

2. Local Storage of Data

  • All scan results (photos and AI analysis outcomes) are stored only on your device.
  • We do not upload, store, or share your personal scan history with our servers.

3. Image Analysis with Google Gemini

  • When you scan or upload a photo, the image is sent securely to Google Gemini for analysis.
  • Google may process the image temporarily to provide recognition results.
  • Images are not linked to your identity and are not stored by us.

4. Analytics & Crash Reporting

To improve the App and ensure stability, we use:

  • Firebase Analytics – collects anonymous usage data (e.g. how often features are used).
  • Firebase Crashlytics – collects crash logs and technical diagnostics to fix bugs.

This data helps us improve performance and user experience. It does not include your scan results.

5. Advertising (AdMob)

  • The App uses Google AdMob to display ads.
  • You will be asked if you allow tracking for personalized ads.
    • If you consent, ads may be tailored based on your activity across apps and websites.
    • If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized.

6. Your Privacy Choices

  • You can manage or withdraw your consent to personalized ads at any time via your device settings.
  • Since scan results are stored locally, you may delete them at any time by removing the App or clearing its data.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
